[ a cakie that they’re now mixing and i guess greasin’ some pans for pouring the mix into because i have samosas cookin’ and i want to eat them and i keep getting distracted don’t tag a food thread when hungry. ]

I guess we just add in the almonds towards the end and mix them well so they don’t sink?

I think that's what you do. [ hmmm. ] The almonds I don't think would be very heavy, but it wouldn't hurt.

I've sliced them pretty thin, so they should... float? [ is that the word in this case? ]

And if someone has a problem if they don't, they can just not eat the cake.

You can make trifle and puddings with stale cake, can't you? Anything that adds a sauce'll liven it up again.

It's really easy, it's just a case of dumping other ingredients in a bowl with the sponge. But making it look appetising.

No, let's just increase the amount of ingredients for this one. We can spoon out some of the batter and bake the cupcakes while we're flavouring the rest for the main cake.
