they'd been having such a good week, hadn't they? she almost feels guilty, in a way. for a lot of reasons. that they'd had all those nice moments, and then all this had happened... for the fact she's still got a little grain of relief buried right in the pit of her stomach, almost drowned out by sadness but still there nonetheless. ]

I think everyone is.
[ no matter what's happened here, she can say with a fair bit of sincerity: everyone here, one way or another, has been influenced by everything that's happened. And she doesn't think they'd want to abandon the people they've lost along the way. ]

Probably. Most people I spoke to assumed the number of bodies was to do with the rule, so...

It'd be the same number of deaths regardless, if we're all working to that goal. It's just... difficult now we've got to this point and everyone's trying to catch up.
But we still have a week before the deadline, right? I'm worried that something like this will happen again... If we really need to fight some monster, then we'll need all the help we can get to win.
We'll just have to be careful, next week. If we stick together, and protect each other as much as we can, maybe we'll all make it through. And then we can bring Shigeo-kun back.
