[ the beach is nice, even when it's dark and the tide is high. she watches the moonlight glimmer across the waves, spotting alex's silhouette. ]

[ her voice is friendly, but soft. ]

Mm. It’s rather nice here, despite everything, isn’t it?


[ she sits herself down next to her. there’s a bundle of flowers in one hand that matches some of the flowers that have been in her hair all day. ]

[ pretty... she'll just lean on her to enjoy the fragrance of the flowers and because she's tired of being upright. ]

Yeah. It's good to enjoy what we have—who knows, we might end up in that stupid jungle come Monday.

[ CLOSES HER EYES ]

Don’t even joke, I never want to see that jungle again.

[ she shifts a little so hilda can be a bit more comfortable, and wraps an arm around her shoulders. bunny cuddle time. ]

No kidding! That humidity was brutal.

[ she just laughs a little and leans into the hug. the sadness and frustration lingers, but she likes this better. ]

Besides, I think we deserve a nice moment after this week.

... Right. We've got a bit of an unknown week ahead of us, haven't we. [ if they want to get everything right ]

[ her expression sobers a bit, thoughtful. ]

There's only about half of us left, and we're supposed to save everyone from this cycle without any idea how to do it... pretty scary if you ask me.

[ the responsibility of it is daunting. ]

As far as we know the first step is done though, isn't it? I... guess if it is, things will start moving.
