No, it's good. It's just... I already forgot him once. I was terrified of forgetting him again and then I didn't even realise I had.

It's... an unsettling feeling. It feels a bit like betrayal, just forgetting alone. [ so... imagine there being someone you were romantically linked to, and then you remembered your dead wife. ]

[arkitect]

...'if these memories are truly so precious, pray do not ask that I forget them twice.'

[he exhales a sigh, at that, shakes his head.]

I cannot say I agree with the sentiment myself, but... 'tis an unsettling thing, to lose and to know that remembering means one may forget again.

Someone said to me that the memories I don't remember, from before I got here, might be safer than the ones I do.

I think they're right. The Realm can't take away what I don't remember. And at least I know those will come back, in their own time.

I think they may have a point, yes. While we are here-- nothing is truly safe.
