Hey, even if it is too much...I can't exactly say this is bad.

No one can really argue that we've earned a spa break or something by this point.

[ the cat that's been padding around her feet hops up onto the counter and paws curiously at some of the bottles, sniffing at them. ]

We definitely need a break like this. Though honestly, I've never been to a spa.

[The wolf at his feet looks up at the cat, watching it, and so does Hansa, smiling.]

Hey, watch it. Your cat might be toppling down all those bottles when we least expect it.

Me neither. [ haha! ] But I think it's all kinda self explanatory?

[ the cat taps a paw against one of the bottles, like it's unsure if the bottle is going to come to life and fight them. pat pat. pat. ]

I'm pretty sure it's going to knock something over whether I intervene or not. [ the cat pats the bottle harder. it's a push top. some lotion comes flying out of the push top and lands on the cat's paw.

the cat jumps about a foot in the air, dashes off the counter directly at hansa's wolf and somehow manages to wriggle so it's hiding as much as it can between the wolf's front legs, peeking out at the counter.

alex just sighs. ]

[Hansa is silent for a moment.]

[And then bursts out laughing.]

[The wolf is surprised, of course, by the cat running between her legs, and then just...lets out a low grumble and huff, moving to prod at the cat with her snout.]

[ the cat twitches slightly, but looks up when he is prodded. hello. ]

See?

[ alex sets the bottle down and turns so she can crouch down and give the kitty a little scritch under the chin. the cat purrs. shamelessly. ]

I don't know what you thought was going to happen. [ the cat still purrs, even though he has been insulted. ]

Eh, he's a cat. Let him live his cat life.

[The wolf just lowers her head on top of the cat's gently, all while looking up at Alex. She won't exactly wag her tail, but she seems very pleased.]

I'm sure he will, whatever I do or say. He's already tried nabbing food from the carts today.

[ after a few more chin tickles for the kitty, alex's hand rises to give the wolf some fuss as well. ]

What a little rascal.

[He smiles a little more as the wolf is given attention, and now one can see that tail thumping a little. If she draws her hand away, the wolf will lean forward to give her hand a little lick.]

[ she smiles when she gets her hand licked, and actually just goes back in for more pets at that point. ]

I’m still not sure where they’ve come from, but they’re all quite sweet, aren’t they?

[ except, apparently, for when this one is being an asshole crow. ]

[More pets for the wolf! And more tail thumping! That's one very happy wolf!]

[Hansa just lifts up a hand to his mouth to stifle a chuckle, cheeks dusting a little with color. Yeah, she sure is sweet when she's not causing mischief as a corvid.]

Maybe, but come on. Careful. You'll spoil her.

[ yaaay!! a happy wolf. the cat just wriggles slightly, with all the fuss and tail thumping, but somehow manages to loaf himself comfortably where he is and keep purring like a little steam train. ]

How much fuss is too much? [ wolf gets one last little ear pet before alex straightens up again. ]
