[ somehow, probably for her own mental safety and health, alex has managed to avoid noticing or paying much attention to the giant l*go pinkie pie at the front of the emporium.
today is the day her luck ran out though, and she's just. she's just staring at the bright pink monstrosity with a face that says she isn't sure if she's impressed at the effort that went into it, or just disturbed. ]
Kano starts swapping out pink pieces for blue ones, trying his best to match the size of the lego blocks on Pinkie Pie's face but some of them don't match exactly and so she gets random growths here and there. ]
Here, here, want to help? I'll grab another bucket!
[ Francy shouldn't leave her pride and joy sitting around if she didn't want it embellished and destroyed. ]
That's what we're doing, right? Making our own creations~ Go on, I've got all sorts of shapes and colors here you can use! There's even, like, spinny bits and long pointy bits if you want them!
[ she peers into the box, before crouching down to set it on the ground. ]
Well... alright. Let's see-- [ she's digging out a lot of little blue pieces, and some triangular ones. and really she should've just said yellow at the start but she can make this work. ]
[ Kano crouches down and watches her work. She's pretty particular about this, huh... Like she plans to construct an actual ear instead of Kano's digging his hands into the bucket and slapping on the first brick he touches.
He will slide several wheels towards her, though. ]
Anyways, Kano is in the lounge! There's an invisible barrier set up to prevent him from physically interacting with anybody else, but it's sort of like having his own personal bubble. Comfy, and just a little lonesome. ]
taps her fist against the barrier. and then smacks it with her palm, hard. it probably hurts! and she probably flinches! but mostly she just looks tired and kinda angry ]
They know you’re innocent, what’s the point of this barrier? Where are you going to run to if it’s not here? [ they’re literally trapped in this realm? ]
No reason for the "realm" to be fair about anything, right? Keeping me in a cage like this. A reminder of all our failures.
[ The realm is just mean. No food is provided during trials?? He has not eaten all day and won't be able to until the npcs come and have mercy on him after pcs are over, we really were spoiled in other games with their little snack tables. ]
[ Becks... go back to sleep... I want to be unconscious for 14 hours ]
It's supposed to be a reflection of us, or something, right?
[ Isn't that what they said with the guillotine last week? Conjured up by everybody's expectations of an execution. At least that sort of death is quick and painless, and Kano can only hope he gets somebody ruthless enough to give him the same mercy. ]
Something like that. I’m not sure exactly how it’s reacting to us, but it is.
[ it’d be nicer if they could all just wish this barrier gone but ... there are probably people out there who are just happy that someone’s caught and they’re still alive. it wouldn’t even be successful. ]
None of us are quite as good and kind hearted as we think we are?
Haha... I think... people are better and more kindhearted than they think, sometimes. It's just... placed in situations like this. They get scared. It's not their fault. They're just scared.
It makes us selfish. We don't want die, and we don't want the people we care about to die. So... we pick a name and hope things work out the way we want them to. [ ... ] That's a dangerous way of doing things.
[ He breathes a laugh, because that's how it is, isn't it? They pick a name, and the name was his, and maybe people will be sad for a day or two but then things will work out. Life won't stop just because of a couple of deaths. ]
Maybe, but it makes sense, doesn't it? You get rid of the people who will cause problems, who are dangerous, who will disrupt the peace. Everybody left is good and kind and won't ever kill, and everybody will be safe. Instinctively, people think this way. To be safe and happy, all you have to do is get rid of monsters like us.
WEEK 0, saturday
today is the day her luck ran out though, and she's just. she's just staring at the bright pink monstrosity with a face that says she isn't sure if she's impressed at the effort that went into it, or just disturbed. ]

Hello! Hi! Blue or yellow?
no subject
... Blue?

Kano starts swapping out pink pieces for blue ones, trying his best to match the size of the lego blocks on Pinkie Pie's face but some of them don't match exactly and so she gets random growths here and there. ]
Here, here, want to help? I'll grab another bucket!
no subject
...
I'm afraid to ask, but what are you doing and why?
no subject
[ The bucket gets shoved into Alex's hands, she gets no choice, and Kano breaks off one of the horse's ears. ]
You stick the blocks together like this...
[ He's playing with Legos, Alex. Not everything has to be wildly suspicious. ]
no subject
I.. figured out what you use them for, but I thought they were more for making your own creations. Or copying the ones on the box.
[ not embellishing and destroying francy's pride and joy. ]

These are pretty hard to find. You can use them.
no subject
accepts the wheels. but sets them down to one side, carefully. there is no room for wheels on this creation.
it takes a little longer, but when she's done---!! she has make a little l*go crown. ]
Now I just need to figure out where to attach it. [ but also? the wheels. hm. ] And what to do with these...
no subject
[ this is still for the broken ear, right? right. ]
You can stick the wheels at the very tips! Right there, and there~ Just like that! Wow! You're real good at this!
no subject
It's a crown, not ears. But it could go over the ears and sort of... hide where it's broken?
[ LET HER CREATIVITY FLOW, DAMMIT. ]

Kano scrambles up to his feet and meets her right at the barrier, so that it's like she's punching him properly but not quite. ]
Hey... You're gonna hurt yourself like that, you know?
