The blankets should form the roof, so we need some chairs and tables and such.

I'd say we've got enough of those lying around to get something sorted. [ hmm. she's surveying the area. like an architect of blanket forts. very important. ]

It needs to be pretty high too, right? So... maybe if we stacked some tables on top of each other? We could boost the height with chairs if we need to, but I think the more we have stacked the more likely it is to fall...

Tables might be more stable than chairs, so lets try that. And when it gets time to put the blankets up, I'll lift you so you can reach.

Tables maybe? It'd be wider and taller then, and we won't all be squashed in there. [ times so far they've all just assume emet is joining the blanket fort without asking him: 2. ]

The tables could work, though please make sure they are stable -- elsewise your fort will meet an untimely end.

A table would hurt quite a lot of it fell on us. I don't mind so much about the blankets.
