I don't want to disturb it too much, because I can't really feel if it's healing well or not. [ and not because it's sore, like i said in the last tag, immediately forgetting she can't feel if it's sore or not. jesus. ]

I know what counts for gathering nova, but I'm still not sure I know what we're doing that means we haven't moved ranks since we got here.

I think there's a lot of factors involved. Trials and murders generate nova.

[He smiles at the feeling of touch, turning slightly to lean her head against hers.]

[He shifts, slightly, letting out a sigh. Alex may or may not notice he doesn't have his cross necklace on.]

You'd probably have as much luck of getting the police here as you would a taxi, even with the phone.

[ he can't see, but she's still pulling out the dogtags she's got on under shirt, and turning them over thoughtfully. ]

Mine was the dogtags I had on during the trial. [ it makes sense... she doesn't have a lot of things that are specifically hers, not really. so the things that matter are more linked to the people around her. ]

... [ although, come of think of it. ] Didn't you have a necklace? You're not wearing it.

[He purses his lips, thoughtful, but then shakes his head at the question.]

[ hm. she lets the dogtags go, and reaches out to tap the centre of his chest -- where the necklace would normally be. ]
